Occurence Hydrocortisone-17-butyrate is a medicament. The substance belongs to the group of corticosteroids. It is mainly used in case of inflammatory skin diseases and psoriasis. 
The substance can be found in creams and ointments. 

Comments The pharmacological properties of corticosteroides - particularly those with stronger efficacy - make it important only to assess the late readings (72 and/or 92 hours). 
Cross reactions possible with prednicarbate, methylprednisolon aceponate, amcinonide, budesonide.
